Bonding
Cosmetic bonding is a quick solution to repair chipped, worn and disfigured teeth. Tooth coloured filling materials are adhered to the missing portion of the tooth or used to fill gaps or spaces. In some cases, cosmetic bonding can also be used to hide or change the colour of the teeth.
Bonding
Bonding uses composite resin to reshape or recolour your smile. After applying a very mild etching solution that slightly roughs the surface of your teeth and permits the bonding material to adhere, your dentist applies the resin and sculpts, colours and shapes it to provide a pleasing result. A high-intensity light hardens the material, which is then finely polished.
Many people choose bonding over silver fillings because it looks more natural-the material can be matched to your natural tooth colour.

Recontouring
Recontouring or reshaping the teeth (also called odontoplasty, enameloplasty, stripping, or slenderizing) is a procedure in which small amounts of tooth enamel are removed to change a tooth’s length, shape, or surface. The procedure is usually done to improve appearance by creating more harmony or balance in the look of the smile.
Recontouring is the most conservative cosmetic treatment. It is a quick and painless procedure whose results can be seen immediately. Recontouring is an effective method to correct minor imperfections such as small chips, slightly irregular tooth shapes or adjusting the length of canines.
